WELCOME ON THE EXHIBITORS’ PLATFORM OF THE EMD 2026
The European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual occasion to celebrate “maritime Europe” and shine a spotlight on the diversity of maritime sectors and sea-related activities across the continent – from fisheries and shipping to marine innovation, ocean protection and the growing role of algae in a sustainable blue economy.
The event highlights the crucial role that seas and oceans play in Europe’s economy, environment and everyday life, while encouraging reflection on their sustainable use.
The European Maritime Day 2026 is organised by the European Commission, the Shipping Deputy Ministry of the Republic of Cyprus, and the Municipality of Limassol.
European Maritime Day (EMD) 2026 will take place at the Carob Mill event premises, located in the old town of Limassol. This central venue will host the high-level sessions, exhibition and part of the workshops. Additional workshops will be organised in two nearby event spaces, ensuring a compact and accessible event layout.
